Cannabis
Marihuana,pot,weed,cannabis,herb,green,... Different names for the same thing.
Cannabis is a plant that grows all around the world.
Relaxation, appetite increase, giggling and overall well being and comfort are effects of cannabis.

Cannabis contains a large amount of different psychoactive compounds (cannabinoids) . THC is ought to be the most important compound but, CBD,CBN,TCHV,... are also very important in my opinion.


Cannabis can be grown inside as well as outside.
Indoor cultivation has increased in the last decade. It is stealthy, discrete and can't be seen from outside (and no smell).
Inside you can give the plant a good environment decreasing the chance for mold and pests.
It requires industrial lighting systems to grow cannabis inside (which can never match the sun imo)

Outdoor cultivation can be hard for those that live in a more northern part of the hemisphere.
You can however successfully grow cannabis outside in the northern hemisphere. Try finding a strain that is adapted to your climate conditions.

I prefer outdoor grown cannabis over indoor grown. Outdoor grown cannabis appeals to be more naturally to me, it's effects ore somehow smoother then the indoor grown cannabis.
The effect is more balanced for me.

Outdoor grown cannabis

There are 3 sub-species of cannabis

Sativa :
A variety with an uplifting headhigh, euphoria. A perfect variety to start off the day
It has long slim leaves.
Indica
Expect heave body stones and couchlocks, ideal for evening relaxation
Ruderalis
also referred to as "Autoflowering" , this variety unlike the other 2 doesn't need a decrease in photoperiod to introduce flowering
Hash

If we talk about hash we actually talk about the "resin glands" that are pressed togheter into a clump.
Separating the plant material from the resin glands can be done in several ways. Sifting,ice extraction,ethanol tincture (hash oil) are a few of them.

The dried cannabis is placed on a sift with a very fine mesh. The cannabis is gently moved across the screen,
separating the resin glands from the plant. This leaves a fine sticky "powder", this can be pressed togheter to make hash. This hash usually has a high flavor but a lower potency then ice extraction

Ice extraction/Ice-o-later
Cannabis,ice and cold water , mixed togheter will make the resin glands freeze.
As a result the resin glands will become brittle, combined with the downward force of the water (and the ice)  it will cause the resin glands to break off. The resin glands (hash) is now floating around in the water and can be sifted out of it.
The result will be a very potent hash (but reduced flavor,imo)
